The SV60RT is a diverter / return valve which reroutes any product from line blockage into the side-branch of the valve, giving the user both the ability to prevent damaging backflow & loss of product.

The relief valve mounts on top of a tee in the process line, typically next to the tank or pump. The hex nut at the top of the valve is used to manually adjust the cracking pressure. Blockage in the normal flow will create pressure which will raise the stem and relieve the product flow out of the side-branch of the valve. The valve is designed to avoid any stagnant product cavities.

The SV60 utilizes a clamp connection by default. Each valve end requires a clamp and clamp gasket. Sanivalve offers customized valve ends for nearly any connection.

All wetted surfaces are 304 or 316L stainless steel or EPDM (with Viton available) seals. All valves have the heat number engraved on the body of the valve with mill test reports included. It has a standard sanitary surface finish, with surface finishes meeting ASME BPE standards for high-purity applications available.
